 Founded in 1948

Bush, Bush & Shanelec is a general practice law firm located in Central Kansas with law offices in Lyons and Sterling. Granville M. "Mac" Bush established his law practice in 1948 after serving in the U.S. Navy in WWII and graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law. After a short stint in a Kansas City law firm and then with Woleslagel, Stevenson and Gaston in Rice County, Mr. Bush started his own firm.

After graduation from the University of Kansas School of Law, Granville M. "Scott" Bush IV practiced law in Washington, D.C.  Scott then returned to Kansas and joined the firm in 1975. Scott followed his father, Mac, and served as the Rice County Attorney for two terms in the 1980s.

Daniel J. Shanelec graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1981. Dan then practiced law for two years in Hutchinson, Kansas, before joining the firm in 1983.

Remington Dalke joined the firm in 2018, "of counsel."  Rem is the present Rice County Attorney.
